Chromebook Loaner Program

A: Yes, if a students needs a Chromebook for instructional use for their required coursework, they may borrow one from their school library.

A: Yes, students must meet the two items stated below:

1. The student or the student's family indicate they do not have a computer or similar device at their home that could be used to complete their assignments.
2. There have been no issues with the student complying with the loaner guidelines in the past and they have returned the device and charger in good condition.

A: The initial length of time for the Chromebook Loaner Program is three weeks.

A: A student can request an extension for the loaned Chromebook.  Students are required to check-in their loaned device at the due date and at this time they may submit a request to take the device out for an additional three weeks. Students must continue to provide verifiable information on their educational usage to extend the use of the loaned Chromebook.

A: A student cannot borrow more than one Chromebook at a time.

A: Chromebooks are not available to be loaned to students over the summer.

A: If a student requires a Chromebook due to their enrollment in summer school and there is a special circumstance that may require a Chromebook to be loaned to the student, they may request a device through their summer school teacher.

A: Students must return their loaned Chromebooks to the library by the last full day of classes.
